
Imam Tariq Khan, is a trained Clinical Chaplain and worked as Imam working for six Departments of Correction in several states since 1974 (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia). He has had 28 years experience working with the most difficult personalities in the prison system. His area of expertise includes: conflict identification and resolution, Human conduct, mental fitness, anger management, segmented character development, and facilitating classes on personal responsibility and establishing social relations. He currently works with the Georgia Department of Corrections as Imam for the Department of Corrections in maximum and close security facilities. Imam Khan adolped a twelve-step program that is designed to help individuals work on corrective behavior. The course allows the individuals to confront personal problems. This program along with others he utilizes gives him a substantial inventory of working tools to counsel a wide range of needs. Imam Khan has also served as an assistant Imam of the Masjid in Martinsville, Virginia. He is also the co-founder of Markazul Irrshaad WA Tawjeeh (C.I.C.G.). Imam Khan was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, USA. He accepted Islam in 1971.
